We had a truly wonderful visit with our daughter, and the experience couldn’t have been better. From the moment we walked in, Chris made us feel welcomed and cared for. The service was attentive—friendly, thoughtful, and never rushed. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was full of flavor. What made it extra special was how Chris went out of his way to help us enjoy this first family visit to Grab a Crab. It was a memorable experience we’ll always cherish, and we can’t wait to come back !

If you like the Boiling Crab experience without the hour wait and for cheaper price, this is your place. We got the combo for 2 and chose two 2lbs of shrimp house sauce with sausages, potatoes, corn, fried calamari, lemon pepper fries, and Cajun chowder. For $45?! That’s a great deal! The deal was so great we just added a side of boiled egg and rice. The total bill came out to be $56 plus tip. The house sauce tastes amazing. My favorite part though is the jumbo shrimp. They did not skimp on the shrimp. The pieces were chunky and there was so much meat. Other seafood boil places would serve smaller shrimps for a higher price. Even the corn was chunky and juicy too! It was also amazing that you can play the claw machine and get a free item. The table next to us got a free crab at the claw machine. This is definitely our new go to place for Cajun seafood.

Was really surprised how good their food is! Seriously! We got the house sauce for our combo shrimp. And the combo comes with A LOT. My husband eats A LOT and their combo for 2 was more than enough to fill us both up and feed our daughter as well! It was $45 and so good and filling and a BIG portion for 2. Recommend their wings, gumbo and clam chowder. Seriously didn't expect how good those were since they were just sides/extras. The location is so chill too so I didn't feel the need to be too worried about bringing my toddler. Service was good too. Food came out fast and the cashier/server who helped us today was helpful, and worked hard so we didn't wait unnecessarily and was always available to help. Really enjoyed our meal and will come back! Hope they get more good regulars coz I'd want this restaurant to stay so I can come back again and again!

The seafood at this restaurant is amazing! We ordered crab and lobster, and the portions were generous with incredibly flavorful sauce. The fried sides and fries were delicious, and the dipping sauces were perfect. The casual atmosphere makes it a great spot for gatherings with friends. If you’re a fan of seafood and spicy food, this place won’t disappoint!

Scissors. That’s it, that’s the post. Jk we came here on a whim since it was closed for a few weeks and it was a nice Cajun boil place. Sadly they ran out of whole lobster with their seafood lovers combo, but we were able to get the king crab legs. The legs came with scissors to cut the shells, which is mvp for anyone who ever eats king crab legs. Didn’t even need to use the steel crackers they also gave! Parking is easy in the multi story lot shared with the other stores in the plaza Interior is of course boat themed with rope nets and crustacean decorations Server was prompt and dumped the food onto a tray for us. I liked the presentation, but the food was cooled faster so I would keep it in the bag. Also the shrimp was thin skinned so peeling it was a nightmare, but some people would simply eat the shrimp with the shell on. Wish it was cooked a little more so the shrimp would peel easier. The best was that the mussels came half peeled and they were plump. Would come again. Best part is that it’s a promotional period now so you can play their claw game for a free meal if you win. We witnessed one win, so it’s not rigged lol

This place is not to be missed! The seafood was so fresh, the sauce was just right, service was excellent, and the price can’t be beat! We went here with a friend on a Sunday night and immediately got sat. You get coins to play the claw machine for your chance to win free food! It was a hoot! The food came out quickly and was truly tasty. My bf and I shared 2 lbs of shrimp, fried fish, lemon pepper fries and gumbo with the combo for 2 and our friend got the mains combo as she was really craving some crab. Honestly this is a great option for a cheep date night or a family/friend meal! Thanks for the excellent service as well! We definitely will be back!

The seafood was fresh, the seasoning was bold, and everything came out piping hot. They give you gloves and bibs so you know it’s about to get real. Portion sizes were fair for the price, sitting around $50 for a special for 2, and the house special sauce had the perfect kick. The interior has a chill, slightly industrial vibe with red chairs, license plate decor, and hanging netting overhead. It’s casual, loud, and energetic great for a laid-back lunch or dinner with friends. Service was friendly and quick, though the place isn’t very big, so expect it to feel a little tight during peak hours. If you’re craving messy, flavorful seafood in a relaxed setting, Grab A Crab Sawtelle hits the spot.
